Adam Welker draws shapes all day; sometimes they become buildings.
He is currently a Project Manager at Douglas C. Wright Architects in New York City. There he applies his passion for traditional architecture to a broad range of projects including residential estates, vacation homes, apartments, and country clubs.
Prior to joining DCWA, Adam was a Designer with Ford & Associates Architects in Columbus, Ohio. He studied to be a painter before pursuing his M.Arch at the Knowlton School. After 12 years of studying and working in Columbus, he decided to pull up stakes and head east to see what the big deal was.
He and his fiancée live in Brooklyn Heights with their pretentiously named black cat, Eames.
